Worried about laptop running too slowly

Hi I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro SP6000 laptop that has just started to run very slowly. I have recently networked it to my desktop PC, installed Windows SP2 and Norton Internet Security 2005. This is when I noticed it running really really slowly and the HD seems to be permanently crunching. Norton Disk Doctor shows high CPU usage and Windows Task Manager shows high Page File Usage.

Am I running too many processes in the background ?
I have run SpyBot and Adaware, and am attaching my Hijackthis log -

Log looks okay. How much memory does this system have? While Norton Internet Security is a good program, it can also be a resource hog.

Thanks Flatlander - it's reassuring to know that there's nothing wrong with the log. :D

Hmmmm but yes ....... I only have 112Mb of RAM, <_< so I suppose I'd better look at boosting the memory .... btw would converting to NTFS help ?
what IS NTFS ?

XP should have a minimum of 256MB of RAM, 512 or more is ideal.

NTFS is a modern, more secure and stable file system, but it will not help this problem. <_<

Thanks for all your help -

ohhh and meanwhile, I got fiddling in System, System Properties, Advanced Tab, Settings, Performance Options, Visual Effects and de-selected "let windows choose what's best" and selected "adjust for best performance" and my little laptop flickered and blinked and then breathed this huge sigh of relief and responds much quicker than before -

I'll still take your advice and get some more RAM though .... thanks xxxx
