system seems fine but get Error 1606

:tazz: This problem is foxing me when i download a new program ,Earthcam tv,got error message 1606.could not access network location.Have Studied the MSN kb article 315352 and tried the work around ,but still get the same message.Looked in regedit and see on HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Explorer\User Shell Floders.There is no subkey for Recent??Corrected registry entry and successfully installed earthcamtv broadcaster,ran file and get error cant find system path?? Hope you can point me in the right direction,hereis copy of hjt log,

Error message 1606(could not access network location), is a common message used by many applications.
Here Earthcam tv was causing the problem, why did u use the solution from MS?
Earthcam tv might have come with troubleshooting guide, use that, or go to the their website

Thanks for the reply,cant resolve the earthcamtv,issue so have given up as everything else appears ok.But am puzzled why ther is no recent key in either HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE or HKEY_CURRENT_USER,can you put me straight on this please?

Don't know.
But I did find a recent key under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
(Note: Above, its Shell Folders not User Shell Folders)
