folder view in Windows XP Explorer

Every time I open Explorer in Windows XP I am staring at a expanded view of all the folders on my computer, including the windows and system folders, and have to collapse the views so that I can view my network and data folders.

How can I set Explorer so that all folders are collapsed by default?

Help!
