The error is Explore.exe has generated errors and will be closed by windows. It gives me Close and Details. When I click close my wallpaper and my pointer is showing but no icons, start menu, taskbar, nothing.

There is no start menu and I cannot hit the windows button on the keyboard. I have booted to the 98 bootdisk and tried to do a restore and it says bad command or file name. I have ran scandisk and cannot find any problems.
