Please, I can use any help I can get with these issues. I just got my computer a few months ago & these problems are really getting to me. I'm running WinXP and I have two user accounts set up on it right now. Occasionally when I proceed to log out of one user to go back to welcome it will freeze up on that users desktop background...no icons...just the picture. I can't hit Crl-Alt-Del or anything. I posted this problem a while ago, and the person that was trying to help me out told me to post a log..but I failed to do so. Well, now it seems like everyother time I try to log-on to either one of the usernames, after it loads the personal settings, it goes right into safe mode. I don't know what to do about this problem so I usually just reboot. I've posted a log this time & I've also done everything that is required prior to posting one. I've also lately been encountering some slow down with my interenet connection (I have DSL). It used to take a few seconds to loadup a web page, compared to the 7-10 seconds its been taking lately. I'd appreciate it if u had any tips for me to speed that up.

I ran both scans, and there were no viruses found on both of them.

Sounds like you probably have an overheating problem, or possibly a hardware issue.

Are you overclocking?

Inspect all your fans to ensure they're working.

Random lockups are about the hardest thing to troubleshoot.
