Hello all,
New system and when the computer is off the light on the mouse stays on. It is an optical mouse with a red light. Is this normal because the light is bright and it drives me nuts at night. Thanks for any responses

It's not normal that I know of. Is it a USB mouse? If it is you might try putting the adapter on and pluging it into the regular ps/2 jack. It's also possible that your computer isn't powering off when you shutdown. On some older computers you had to turn it off manually after you used shutdown.
