Well, just recently, i downloaded something p2p, and recieved that, "outdated version vendor" error. I googled my problem and relized that i had Win32.Alcan.C.
I googled this virus up and couldn't find any removal methods, and one link lead me to this website, geekstogo, and the link lead to a similar problem someone had who couldn't remove the same virus. The thread was closed due to lack of feedback. Symptoms, taskmanager won't open, i'am guessing its renamed, and things blink at times.. "AntiVir" didn't detect anything.
You geekstogo must be working overtime and apologize.
Thank you very much for the help.
