Hello all

I have been surfing the topics, and i cant seem to find a reason why my P4 3.0 with Hyper threading, is lagging while running simple tasks like winamp etc... i have noticed it has an exceptionally slow start up, my AMD 2600+ loads nearly 5 times faster... I have updated BIOS, updated motherboard drivers, defraged, everything i can update i have....

There is no spyware, and no virus' - with VET. I have disabled some of the start up items, only essential ones are there now...

Someone said check the hijack this tool... and i have to post it in here, if someone could help or has been in the same probelm this would be great!

Only unusual specs bout my comp is it has a TV card, and a 200 gig external hard drive..

Its a P4 3 gig - 64bit
Gigabyte GA-8S648FX-775
Gefore FX 5200
200 gig internal hdd
80 gig internal hdd
200 gig external hdd
simple creative sound card
XP PRO SP2
Firewire card....

Thanks alot!
