Bloodhound virus [CLOSED]

My norton antivirus started to go crazy yesterday with the virus alert that my computer is infected with the bloodhound.32.ep virus and it can't repair it.

I checked the processes running on windows task manager and noticed intmon.exe, intmonp.exe,shnlog.exe, msole32.exe and popuper.exe (which i tried to kill from there but they wouldn't die). I tried system restore but that didn't work either.

I went to your website and did all the the pre-request suggestions (cleanup, ad-aware, cwshredder, ewido, spybot, trend housecall, trojan, windows update and hijack this). None of the .exe files mentioned above now show up on my task manager processes but norton still continues to send me a virus alert every few seconds cautioning me that I have bloddhound.32.ep.

Please help.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
