i have a burned copy of my xp, how do i boot from the disc to repair my xp considering i can't even get into safe mode~!

Change the seeting in ur BIOS, make CD-Rom ur 1st Boot Device.
Then Insert the CD.

assuming that you burned this copy not only legally but correctly

it still won't boot from it. I burned it as a .iso and just dragged the win.rar file into the burner. Do i need to drag each file by itself or what.. bleh

to my knowledge you would need to be burning an iso image of the disk...not just a zip file with the contents of the xp cd on it

where did you create that ISO image form if I just ask?
