First, thanks to all who have helped me so far.

I finally contacted the seller of my MP0402H hard drive, and he informed me that I needed to adapt the hard drive pins from my old hard drive to my new hard drive for it to work.

DOES THAT SOUND CORRECT? I am looking at the hard drive, and it appears soddered on. If this is correct, then I need to replace the frame of my old hard drive onto the new hard drive. Sounds a bit technical and scary, but maybe it will work.

Any help would be appreciated.

The seller probably just means you need to take your old drive out of the drive carriage and install the new drive into the carriage. The carriage comes apart.
