System Restore

I can't get my system restore to actually restore. It gets to the point of confirming the date/time, I click ok. It seems to start, but within 10 to 15 seconds it just stops as if I never hit the ok button.
Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

System restore will stick in one place for a while, then it should reboot and then take a while to get back to the desktop just after confirming it was restored.

If you start it and it does nothing for 10 minutes, post back with the problem which requires you to restore
