Try Half-Life 2, Farcry and Call of Duty. (Download the DEMOS to see if you like them first)

Doom, the original....still the only game that ever made me jump out of my chair when the baron of [bleep] first appeared.....or the cyberdemon in doom2....freaking rocket gun chased me around for hours before I brought him down with the ol' double barrel shotgun.

Now that was a game....

I played the demo and it has some "surprises", but is "bunnies and kittens" compared to Doom3.

Hi there,

an adventure game that quite took my fancy was Wik and the Fable of Souls, you can get from Reflexive.com or from Real Arcade. It is quite a challenge to master, and the forum has opportunities to post your best times and "Ghost" versions in Challenge mode.

I was completely addicted for ages!! Beautiful graphics and an intelligent motor skills game. Definately strategy based once you master the skills.

Be patient though... it is difficult to play! (at the start)

Chhers, hope you enjoy!

Buy Command & Conquer Generals with the expansion pack, Zero Hour. Its like Warcraft and Starcraft and you can face other people online. Hours of fun!

One of the BEST games you can get is THIEF. Why? Well, other than being really scarey, fun, and sometimes downright funny, there is a large fan base for this game where the fans themselves create missions. So after you play the initial game, you can get additional missions for it FREE from the internet.

There is also an online version you canplay in teams or solo against AI's or other players.

I suggest you buy THIEF II The Dark Age if you want to be able to play a lot of fan missions -- or even learn to create your own -- or you can get the latest THIEF III fan mission (XP only).

Here are just a few of the sites you can go to to check out THIEF.
