I have run Spybot S&D and found HAXDOOR-H on my system. It reappears after being removed.
I have also run AdWare SE and SpyWAreBlaster. I have also updated my Windows XP to include the SP1a update, but not the SP2 update.
I have followed the istructions that you have posted. I have posted my7 log 3 times, but receive a message that I need to follow the instructions first. I HAVE!!!

I ran the UnHackMe program and it did not find anything.

Download http://www.atribune....loads/HSFix.zip
Unzip it to the desktop but do NOT run it yet.

*Click here and download Killbox by Option^Explicit.
*Extract the program to your desktop and double-click on its folder, then double-click on Killbox.exe to start the program.
*In the killbox program, select the Delete on Reboot option.
*Copy the file names below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing Control-C:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\wd.sys

*Return to Killbox, go to the File menu, and choose "Paste from Clipboard".
*Click the red-and-white "Delete File" button. Click "Yes" at the Delete on Reboot prompt. Click "No" at the Pending Operations prompt.

While your computer is restarting, tap the F8 key continually until a menu appears. Use your up arrow key to highlight Safe Mode, then hit enter.

Once in Safe Mode, please run HSFix.bat

Reboot back into Normal Mode and please post the contents of C:\hslog.txt, as well as a new HijackThis log.

I have some good news and some bad news...

The ood news is that I cannot detect the HAXDOOR-H trojan any more. I scanned my system with Spyware S&D, Adware SE and Spyware Blaster, and find nothing.

The bad news is that my keyboard no longer works at all. If I unplug it and plug it back in, the lights will come on, but it still won't work. Because of this, I cannot restart my computer in safe mode to finish. I even went to the device manager and deleted the keyboard and let Windows detect it on the restart, which it did, but it still does not work.

What should I do?

(Wireless or special buttons)
If so tell us which one.

If not, the normal driver is kbdhid.sys
Let us know if it is present in C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.

No, I disconnected my wireless keyboard when I started having trouble. It is a standard MS 102 key.

On the hardware tab start the Problem solver.
Does that enable you to choose kbdhid.sys ?

There is three drivers there. kbdhid.sys is enabled. The troubleshooter says it is working properly.

It started when I deleted the two files in system32 folder that yopu told me to. Is ther anything in the folders that I needed?

I have now lost my internet connection on the affected computer because I was unable to enter a login password.

I even thought about reinstalling Win XP, but I don't have a keyboard to enter the key.

I will work on getting the internet connection back up.

FYI: I have re-established the internet connection and can type using the on-screen keyboard for the disabled. If needed, I can type short things or enter keys and such.
