My mother has a piece of spyware on her computer that PCcillin has identified as tspy.alemod.a which I believe is part of smitfraud.c. Anyway, I was able to disable it wth PCcillin, but the instructions for removal of the spyware include replacing the wininet.dll file. I have the original installation cd, and have found the file in the .cab file, but the instructions on support.microsoft.com were not very clear on unpacking a .cab file and retrieving an individual file from it. Can you help me with some clearer instructions? Thank you.
