[tedmug]

Surfing the web the other day. this pop-up appeared and began installing this software automatically. I tried to stop it but it installed. I have tried to uninstall with the Windows utility and it seems to perform the uninstall. When I reboot the computer there it is again in the tray, starting itself up nad executing a scan. I ahve deleted the file to the trashcan but it still runs.

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
