I have been trying to install MS office XP and 2003 on windows 2003 and I'm not able to. Everytime put in the CD the autoplay never comes up, and when I try opening it from my computer it freezes the my computer window, when I try doing it from CMD still nothing. It's not the CDs because I have used them to install on other operating system in the same box like windows xp using the same ones I can't do it on windows 2003.

Any Ideas.

When I do that, it freezes the my computer sceen and if I try closing it, it takes off all the icons and taskbar on my desktop, which causes me to reboot the system to see the icons and have the taskbar and everything showing.

Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.

this problem doesn't scream "malware" but it might be a good idea to check.....
