Hi helpme101 and welcome to Geeks To Go

Before i say a thing, we need to move that hijack application into a safer location.

Double-click on the zip file containing the HijackThis.exe file. Select the HijackThis.exe, and hit the combination “Ctrl + C”.
Minimize the zipfolder, and go to My Computer. Double-click on C:/, then double-click on Program Files.

In the menu bar you’ll find “File”. Click it, then choose “New”, and then “Folder”.

Call this folder HijackThis. Double-click to open this – new – folder.
Now use the combination “Ctrl + V” to paste the HijackThis.exe into this folder. Now close all other windows, and double-click on the HijackThis.exe in the folder you’ve just created.

Please go into add/remove programs and remove anything by new net.

Also download this program and run it.

Restricted Zones Remover
(once downloaded right-click on DelDomains.inf and select: Install.
This will remove all entries in the "Trusted Zone" and "Ranges")

Finally go here and follow the instructions provided.

Reboot your computer in safe mode

Also make sure this is done before going into safe mode.

See hidden folders and files

Please go into safe mode, before signing off here, please make sure that you print these instructions out or save to notepad file, as there will be no reading these instructions while in safe mode.

Fire up hijack this, press scan only and place checks next to these.

After that is done fire up hijack this, press scan and place checks next to these.

Ok we have ways around that sticky little fellow, this is what you will have to do.

Download and install Registrar Lite version 2.00

• Double click the purple Registrar Lite icon on your desktop.
• Copy the line below and paste it into the "Address" field (located at the top) of the program:
  
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects
  
  
• Click the "Go" button.
• On the right-hand side it will load all of your BHOs (you'll just see a bunch of numbers)
• Locate the following entries:
  
  
  O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D} - (no file)
  
  
• Right click on each one and select Properties
• Click the Permissions Button and a new window will open.
• Click the Advanced button
• Place a checkmark next to the following:
  'Inherit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects...'
• Click OK, Ok again and rightclick on each of the following:
  
  
  O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D} - (no file)
  
  
• Choose delete.
• Exit Registrar Lite.

Restart your computer and post a new HiJackThis log.

I just saw all the numbers E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D so i did what u said to that but it still didnt go away. I pretty sure i did everything correctly. Is this what the virus is?? Anyway, I really appreciate the help, time, and patience that you have given me. Here is the new log

Im sorry that i didnt put this on the last reply but i forgot to tell u that when i right clicked on teh file and opened permissions it said this - The permissions on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Browser Helper Objects\{E3215F20-3212-11D6-9F8B-00D0B743919D} are incorrectly ordered, which may be ineffective. Reboot your computer in safe mode

when you are in safe mode have hijack this fix this line.
