The best things.
A 4800+X2, 2GB of corsair XL pc4000, gfx card dont know at the moment, proably if i had to pick anything a pair of 7800GTX in msi k8n diamond sli board in a coolermaster stacker with some asetek water cooling and a 600W PSU from enermax.
Or you could just buy an armari gravistar http://www.armari.co...m.asp?SysID=366. Building pcs are great but it comes to a certain point if you want the best you have to buy it.

as of right now around the best you can get for a gaming pc, not a workstation or server. I would get 3.6 ghz / equivalent or above.
2 gigs of memory or above, 7800 gtx video card or 2 7800's, sound blaster audigy2 zs platinum pro, get a high quality gaming motherboard thats not cheap from Dfi,Msi,Asus,Gigabyte. Get a true-power power supply (not a cheap power supply). FInally get good cooling and high quality fans for the case and cpu.
