right click on desktop, choose properties....what is selected under GENERAL TAB, theme?

CHange it to something else?

OK TAKEN FOREVER to right click desktop ????

have changed it to my favorite theme ????

had other options of browse, more themes online, windows classic
& was on my current theme................

the other part......

was on let windows choose whars best for my computer , so have done as you say .................

bloody [bleep] now got warning error from McAfee personal firewall plus.......

an unexpected error has occurred in "Mpftray.exe".

Infornmation about this error have been saved in

"C:\PROGRA~1\McAfee.com\PERSON~1mpftrayErrors.txt"



Could chuck this laptop in bin if it did not have some many pictures of my two week old baby daughter on it !!!!!!

you seem to be having multiple issues here, but the grey task bar may be related to the issue resolved on the last page of the thread....still read, the whole thread and see if anything in there is relative
