Help my letters on my laptop are buggin out

I had a few viruses and ran multiple anti trogan and spyware programs to clean it but I still can't get some of my letters back.  I am using a usb key board to write this.  I am running xp.  I am unable to restore to an earlier point.  My computer also cannot recognize my scanner.  Please Help!      :tazz:

:tazz: Nevermind. It was a simple fix. Sorry, the viruses made me paranoid.
