Recently (just started on Jul 26), whenever I boot my computer into Windows, after it's done loading everything, the security center balloon pops up and the "pop" sound is played. The balloon says that my computer might be at risk, and says something like "Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition is turned off". The balloon stays there for about 3-5 seconds, then disappears, as if everything's working just fine.
I uninstalled SAV, rebooted, reinstalled, and rebooted. But to no avail.
I rebooted into safe mode, and ran the following scans:
[Links provided on your site] : Ewido, CWShredder, AboutBuster, Spybot
[My own stuff] : Ad-Aware SE Professional Build 1.06r1 , Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition 10.0.0.359
CWShredder found some VX2.Look2Me thing, which it fixed; Spybot found some Megaplex thing, which it fixed.
I rebooted and went in safe mode again, and scanned a 2nd time using all the above software, and none of the software detected anything suspicious.
Finally, I rebooted and ran windows normally again (not safe mode). The balloon still pops up as described above. So I'm stuck. I'm not sure if my system is clean or infected, but I'm hoping this is a common problem, so hopefully you've encountered it before. Thanks.
Here's my HijackThis log:
