Here is the Fresh HJT file...

If you could tell me where I am to ask about my outlook express, I am still having problems with that...not even sure if I could explain it...
I have lost everything, addresses, emails, and sometimes when I try to open it, I have to put in the names, email address, location of server mail....and then a couple of times I have got a notice saying I am not connected to the internet, but I am...??????

Thank you so much, I am so glad I found this site...
Teresa

My email is still ill, I got a message saying:

Symantic script blocking has prevented a script action that could be harmul to you

Application...msoobe.exe

Source File...C/shellnext"C/program files/ outlook express/ msimn.exe" /offline

Object...file system object

Method...get file

and then when I opened internet explorer, outlook express came up, and again everything gone, and had to re do names, addresses, and mail address to get into it just to find it all gone...

I also, at times cannot get into recycle bin...

Sorry if I am posting this in the wrong place, it just goes with everything else that went wrong with this computer...

I have done what you asked, and this is still there.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [System service62] C:\WINDOWS\etb\pokapoka62.exe

My homepage does not stay as it should, and I have already mentioned my email..but...no pop ups, and AVG hasn't told me of any trojan horse downloaders in a long while, my computer is still slow to start, but when I am in internet, everything seems to be running smoothly...

Again here is my HJT file, I will try and delete this poka file again ...

Thanks again...
Teresa

Download Silentrunners.zip from HERE to a new folder
on your desktop
.

Run the SilentRunners.vbs file. If your antivirus has a script blocker, you will get a warning asking if you want to allow SilentRunners.vbs to run. It might say something like "Malicious Script Warning". This script is not malicious so you are safe in allowing it to run.

Let it run for about 1 minute,When it has finished it will produce a Startup Programs text file. Copy and paste that text file here in your next reply.

I started another question and guess I shouldn't have...I was told to post back here...

I have run Ewido twice, and the same question's come up and I press no because I don't know the consequences in pushing yes...

C:\System Volume Information\_restore{11B4CBB0-31B0-483C-A4FE-D6E9E8C1A928}\RP1\A0000010.exe/VVSN.exe -> Adware.SaveNow : Error during cleaning

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\VVSNInst.exe/VVSN.exe -> Adware.SaveNow : Error during cleaning

Can I delete these with no worries

With the first 4 they say that they are embedded in an archive...

Thank you so much for the quick responses, and the help...

I can't believe I wanted to put my foot through my computer It's running better then it has in 2 years...

that's what happens when you have 2 helpers working on the same problem because you started 2 threads. we are both trying to achieve the same thing but all the helpers have different ways of achieving this.

I'll get back to you when i have had a chance to analyze this.

I am sorry for that...I thought it was a different problem since my computer is/has been running better...

I ran adaware in safe mode, came up with 7 files, saying they were tracking, deleted them, but I also deleted them yesterday too...just not in safe mode.

Again, sorry for the confusion, you all are so very helpful...

Windows AFA Internet Enhancement
Windows Genuine Advantage v1.3.0254.0

Download Silentrunners.zip from HERE to a new folder
on your desktop
.

Run the SilentRunners.vbs file. If your antivirus has a script blocker, you will get a warning asking if you want to allow SilentRunners.vbs to run. It might say something like "Malicious Script Warning". This script is not malicious so you are safe in allowing it to run.

Let it run for about 1 minute,When it has finished it will produce a Startup Programs text file. Copy and paste that text file here in your next reply.

Windows AFA Internet Enhancement: It won't remove

Windows Genuine Advantage v1.3.0254.0: I don't have this one in Add/Remove programs

When trying to go to silent runners,
I get an alert after pushing ok to go to it, saying: Alert Symantec script blocking has prevented a script action that can be harmful to you...
obviously I need to turn off something to let it open, not sure how to do that...
