hi i was in the registry removing a bit of spyware and i have lost my address bar , it is ticked in toolbar but not visable , i have tried a system restore , a last good configuration boot and an update of ie 6 from microsoft , still no address bar , can anyone help thanks

Right-click an empty part of the main standard-buttons toolbar at the top and click "Lock the Toolbars" to remove the tick. Hopefully this will unlock all the toolbars and bring at least a bit of the address bar into view, allowing you to re-position it to it's full length.
