This is on another system... Compaq Presario S5300NX... When starting up, it gets to the desktop and i get the followind dialog box...

Sounds like you need to remove the remains of BackWeb. Post a hijack this log from the machine and someone will be along to help clean it up.

I didn't see thwe solution to this problem posted - I am having the same message - anybody got the answer ? ie Invalid Backweb application id 1940576

winemanski, you need to click the "Hijack This Guide" link in my signature and scan your computer with it with all running programs closed. Post the results of your log in the Hijack This Log forum. Post in another thread makes things confusing.
