missing shortcut PLEASE HELP

i recently uninstalled some software from my computer. I am currently running windows 98 on it and after the unistalling of the files i rebooted ... when windows came up i get a missing shortcut error for an exe file any help would be much appreciated

i just dont want it to search for the missing file anymore thats not there. someone please help

i have no idea what to do but it searches for this file that i uninstalled so... there is no way it can find it... i just dont wont that error or search box to pop up at startup anymore someone please help me.....please :tazz:

Click clean up and repair, run disc clean up then registry clean up, which will deal with the shortcut
