I currently have a small home network setup with 2 lynksys routers. First, 192.168.1.1 is a WRT54G wireless/4 port router. Cable modem connects do this, and 2 wired computers and a broadband phone are also connected to it (and from time to time other wireless devices tap in). That router branches off to a BEFSX41, which the rest of the computers plug into. After a lot of headaches i found that i needed to set the second router to 192.168.2.1 in order to get the 2 to communicate properly. Now I've got everything working fine, everyone can share the internet, and all seemed well, until I realized that computers can only see shared files of other computers on the same router. I want to be able to share between computers on router #1 and router #2, is this possible? Thanks, and sorry for such a long description, i always find a way to make things more complicated than they actually are... :tazz:

this is correct. normally, routers is one way traffic and block coming access for the security reason. you may have two options. setup the 2nd router as DMS or as a swicth if it has this feature. OK, you may have third option, you open ports if you know which ports need to open.
