I really love the TDK DED+440 External Multi-Format DVD+/-RW Drive
DVD burner that I have but unfortunately the speed is 4X and TDK has stopped selling the blank 4X DVDS and has gone to selling 8X blank DVDS instead which does me no good.
When I first went shopping for a DVD burner I tried 4 different ones (all had problems) before finally buying the TDK one that I have now.
Does anyone now of a good DVD burner to upgrade to???? It needs to be an external drive. TDK makes a faster one but I can't seem to find an external one for sale. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!

The packageing for the 8X DVD's says 8X compatiable or higher. I actually found a TDK 12X DVD burner online at Target. I wonder if I could use my 4X disks and 8X disks with this burner. I've never seen 12X disks only 4X,8X and 12X.

Go to Rima.com... http://www.rima.com/...gory_Code=DVP4X

Rima is excellent! Fast delivery and the lowest prices! If you live in california, and you order in the morning, the very next day, your cd/dvds are delivered!
