Ihad Problems Trying To Get My Free Edition Of A V G To Update .eventualy I Wiped It Out And Downloaded A New Version But It Wil Nt Ley Me Install It As It Keeps Saying That I Have Already Got It Installed .i Got Rid Of It In The Add/remove Then Went To Search And Removed All Tracces I Could Find But Will Still The Same Problem ..
Any Help Appreciated

Run disc clean up then registry clean up then click optimize to run reg defrag which needs a reboot.

Try AVG after the reboot.
