hey im steph and i have the same EXACT problem as this guy here
theres always popups appearing out of nowhere and sometimes even redirects me to a this same site called ever-clear i think...ive run microsoft and ad-aware...and also AVG but it always stays... once an error appeared but i dont exactly know what it said cause it only appeared once but after that appeared it rebooted my computer. ive ran cleanup, registry fix, regcleaner, and CWshredder. with CWshredder sometimes it has this error called VX2.look2me. it logs off my itself and asks for a password to log back in but no one who uses this computer has a password protected account.
i also have a problem with windupdates.mediaAccess and also windupdates
brower plug-in. those 2 ive had for a long while now and i just cant get rid of them. the logging off and the password thing started when i got those.

Please Click here!, and follow the recommendations in the guide.

If you're still having trouble, We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool, Hijack This. Follow the instructions in step five of this guide, and reply here with your log.

Most of what Hijack This lists lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results.

We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Click here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&DisplayLang=en
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.
