Hi everyone, I Wonder if anyone could help me.

I have a very slow starting computer. When l start my computer up, it goes through the process of booting up to the welcome screen and hangs for about 30 second or more, then starts to load the icons etc which takes a few mintues, before its ready for use.

I have ran Norton Anti-Virus, which is fine, and also regulary run Ad-Aware SE Plus Build 1.06r1 and Spybot-Search and Distroy v1.3, to get rid of spyware and viruses etc. But when l reboot again, it still boots up the same way as before.

I have run the Windows XP disk from start up, and run it through the repair utility proceedure. But still get the same result. l don't know what to do now.

l have even started up in safe mode, same problem again............

Is there anyone who can help, please :tazz:
