video camera footage wont work

;) me and my m8s have recently been making a skating video and when my friend sends me the footage over msn it wont run on my computer!!! it starts i hear the sound but the picture freezes the camera is a top of the range sony handycam and it works on all my mates but not mine ( my comp is not the healthiest of computers bit old if u ask me)

please help me THANKYOU!!!! :tazz:

What are you trying to view the video with? Maybe that is where your problem is at.

hi yer im using windows media player and when i click play it freezes

all my m8s use windows media player 2 so i think its coz my comp cant run it that fast it runs at summin like 2000 mhz
