I'm building my first computer. I have everything together and connected. I turn it on and try to enter setup. I get a message saying start flash recovery Y or N. I choose y and it says starting flash recovery... and does nothing else. I choose N and the screen goes black and then I get error msg media test failed, check cable. I have a western digital sata hdd. I have a feeling it has something to do with that but I'm just stuck right now. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to Go. You need to put the SATA drivers on a floppy disk. During windows install, you will be prompted to install 3rd party drivers by pressing F6. At that point, press f6 and insert the floppy into drive a and load the drivers.
