Sorry, didn't mean to sound stupid. I've only heard it called an ethernet card. I'm on Realtek's website, but it can't seem to find the server when I try to download the driver for WinMe.

Do you think that may be the solution?

Thanks again.

Absolutely!

Realtek RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter

Here's the download site:

http://www.realtek.c...6&Software=True

Still can't get the load to start and I don't have enough room on a floppy disk to download "Auto installation program(support WinXP 64/Win98SE/WinME/Win2K/WinXP ,ver 621)," so I tried the WinME drivers. All 3 sites came back "cannot find server."

I'm working on it. Have to access it from my husband's computer in the basement to save it on a floppy. Will install and post back. Thank you so much.

Did you get the first file "Auto installation program(support WinXP 64/Win98SE/WinME/Win2K/WinXP ,ver 621)," or this one:

Windows ME 6.21 2005/03/18 127k

Shouldn't it fit on the floppy? I'm still working on trying to get someone else to download it to a cd, but would rather be able to get it on the floppy if possible.
