Hi,
I have a question about spyware / adware. Is there any software that can detect the certificates that causing spyware / adware to be downloaded ?
I may not be an expert on this business, but I noticed that one of the way those programs installed in computers is by accepting to installed certain certificates. Once the certificates is installed. then everytime you go to any websites that has the same certificates, it will automatically download the spyware again.
I experienced this problem, and I still don't know how to fix it. I accidentally click OK, and boom. I got a lot of spyware. I cleaned them up.. then one day I go to one website, and boom again.. I got a lot of them again.
I suspect this is because of that certificates I installed previously. But the problem is I don't know what kind. And so far no software can detect it.
Can somebody help ?
thanks

Well let's see what's left on your system. Let us take a closer look at what is running on your PC. We'll need you to use a free diagnostic tool (HiJackThis) and post a log back here with the results.

Click the HijackThis Guide in my signature, download it and follow the instructions in the guide.

Most of what it lists will be harmless or even essential, DO NOT delete or modify anything yet! Someone will be along to tell you what steps to take after you post the contents of the scan results. <_<
