my computer keeps restarting, ever since i overclocked my video card... so i set it back to default but it keeps restarting still... whats wrong?

1. i got a 2.4 ghz computer with windows sp 2

2. ge force fx 5500

3. 768 ram

Hello,

It could most possibly be that your graphics card is damaged after overclocking. Overclocking means it has to run for what it wasn't made for, which causes it to heat up more than regular. The stock fan/heatsink is only designed to withstand it's stock clock's.
