:tazz: I am not a 'techie', wish I were! but I have two trojan virus files on my Dell L933R pc running windows xp - I have norton anti-virus which detected the viruses (I just installed a new PCI modem) was not able to go online (dialup for several days-rec'd msg no dialtone deteced although phone worked ok on the same line)
after modem was installed I was able to go online, but Norton Anti virus detected the virus, but was unable to quarantine/fix or delete it.
Went into safe mode, did a search on C: drive (C:/windows/jaaste.dll) file was found let me delete, re-ran virus scan in safe mode but it was back, Norton anti-virus allowed me to quarantine/delete, but virus is still there - can you guide me in simple language step by step what I need to do to eradicate both jaaste.dll & jst128k trojan horse viruses?
Thanks! ;)
