i am trying to use windows movie maker 2
i love what it is suppose to do but as you know it crash a lot and won't let you save a avi files that is very long
what i want to know is
what is the best softwear to get that lets me
1 copy from my camera and digital view cam
2 edit the pictures and video
3 take pictures from the video
4 add music from my music files
5 add credits and different video effects
6 save the finish prouduct so it can play on any dvd player
7 copy it to the dvd not my system


i also have sony click to dvd
but it won't let you had music

i also have sony dv plus
but it hasn't all the features i am looking for

someone has said unlead has a program



what do you all think

Ulead Video Studio or the new Adobe Premiere Elements which is a less powerful but easier to understand version of the pro-level Adobe Premiere. Of the two, I'd go for Premiere Elements.

One problem with Widows Movie Maker and also Windows Media Encoder, a free download from Microsoft that is more "pro" than Movie Maker, is that they both save files in memory instead of writing directly to disk, so you very soon run out of memory. That's why they hang up.

One that I've used and like that writes to disk is TMPenc.

i am going to go on the web and check them out first than
there is a store in town that you can rent softwear first than buy it
i am going to see if they have them
so i can try to see which one i like best

I'm not sure how much it cost or anything but my mate use sony vegas and apparantly that's alright.
