IBM A21 Start problems

I have a problem with my IBM A21 laptop.....after it was in heirbernate mode, (the moon sign) it refushes to start up again......battery is charged (2 diff. ones).

How did I get it started again?
It had started to turn off without warning and plugged into AC too.
