Hello,

I am experiencing a problem in which IE 6.0 is not working at all (since 3 weeks). I installed Firefox and it has been working for a while. Now, they have the same behavior : whenever I execute them, the "hourglass" icon appears for a few seconds, but then disappears. Both processes seem to be in memory but there's nothing going on.

I am able to connect to the Internet using MSN Messenger and MS Outlook.

I have executed Ad-aware, Spybot & Clean-up without any success.

Here is the result of Hijack-this.

Take note that there was a missing file and I fixed this with LSPFix. After that, I executed HiJackThis.

I also executed WinSockFix.

I observed that if I open the usual Windows Explorer, then type in an HTTP url, it does work.

But opening directly IE or Firefox still doesn't work.
