My computer restarts every 10-30 minutes.
Some sounds don't work on my computer.

I sympathize with you. WarriorScot (a senior Geek) asked me for additional information and then disappeared.

My guess about your problem: You may have a defective power supply coupled with overheating caused by cooling fan problem.

Good luck

Boy... tough crowd! Problem is... this is a very busy place. There are actually more people here asking for help than there are the number of capable people actually helping. Make sense?

Sorry you had to leave, but I was really busy trying to help someone else at the time.

Wayne,
I'm sure Warriorscot didn't "mean" to disappear on you. With 700+ posts, he is quite a busy man too! I'm sure in time, he would have gotten back to you.

Okay Pink,

WE do care.

I have seen the restart problem on Win98. But I need to know what you are running.

Are you running Win98 by any chance?

Turn off the auto reboot so you can get the error message.
Control Panel>System>Advanced>Start up & Recovery> settings

Look in your event logs for more clues (Admin tools)
