I was told that an internal 16X DVD Burner would be faster than a external 16X DVD burner. If thats true then how much more time will it take to burn a DVD with an external DVD Burner????

Whether it's faster or not, internal is better. It connects directly to your system bus and doesn't have to use any interface hardware or solftware. Your computer will have less trouble seeing it and using it.

Besides speed, if cost is an issue go with internal. You will get more for your money and it will help you if you are on a tight budget. Don't worry about installation, its really simple. Should only take 5-10 minutes even if its your first time.
