my laptop is less than 6 months old it had windows xp on it xp got corrupted so i used the manufactures disk and it was missing files so it wouldnt work it destroyed the MBR so i instaled windows 98 but the windows 98 disc didnt have drivers for firewire or usb 2.0 and i few others so i just skiped the instalation of those drivers now when i boot it says

windows cannot find a device file that maybe needed to run windows or it componates
the system.ini refers to it but windows cannot find the device file

and other stuff this is b4 i get into the windows GUI
the file is vnetbios.vxd
