what socket type does an amd prcessor use and which mother board would i most likely use for a case with the lil lcd screen on the front thanx if u kno wut i mean

Your question is very vague. It depends on the cpu: Socket a, socket b, 754 and 939 for amd. A little lcd screen doesnt have an impact on what mother board you can put in the case it depends on how big the case is and does it have the proper mounting holes etc etc.

but in the case its a whole bunch of stuff for like usb hook up and speaker hookup and like 30 lil things that u hook into the mother boad the lcd comed with it with a temp thing and a cpu monitor

Well Motherboards and cases are built to a set standard everything has a place to go on the motherboard, temperature sensors you fit where you want them.

so which mother board manufacturer would u recomend and woul u recomend a p4 or a amd 2600

For mainboard ASUS if you are going with AMD and Intel or ASUS if you go with a P4. If you do go with an AMD only go with an AMD64.
