ok, my hard drive is really slow for some reason...it takes me 8 hours to extra a 1gig file in winrar..and takes 30min to move a 50MB file??

i did a complete reformat a while back, and whiped my hard drive and system 100% clean..before the reformat the hard drives were faster...

so my question is, was i supposed to install some sort of drivers for my hard drive?i got a RAID disk, but i thought that was onyl for multiple hard drives?its very possible that i am wrong tho...

if anyone could help, that would be awesome :tazz:

After a reinstallation I highly reccomend you defragment the drive, even if defragmentoer say it isn't needed, this will speed up your system operation.
