When attempting to download and install Hijack This, I was tricked by Alertspy into installing their software on my Windows 2000 Professional IBM ThinkPad machine. It doesn't show up under add/remove programs in control panel but has at least three entries in my registry and does show up when i select the "Start" button and "Programs".

Before I do anything to remove it by myself I wanted to get professional advice.
BTW, I believe that this program installed the msole32.exe program and registry settings which cause a recurring popup window to appear stating that I have a Critical System Error and that I have Spyware on my machine and asking me to view all available Anti Spyware applications. I have followed the instructions for removing that program and have successfully done so.

Now I just want to get rid of Alertspy itself. Hopefully you can help me. Thank you in advance.
