I am looking for a free partition magic 8 clone or something that is free that will allow me to set up a partition to dual boot Linux and Windows. Can anyone help?

I don't have Linux yet and don't want to lose windows first..

you won't have to....just dl your distro of choice...then follow the directions to burn it to cd...when you boot from the cd it will give you options for partitioning the drive....my distro of mandriva even let me resize my current windows partition
