A similar post was made by Magoo on July 15 but received no clear answer.

I have a single computer at home and have set up 4 accounts for family members in WindowsXP.

We have a single email address but cannot figure out how (in Outlook Express) to get the different accounts to share the same email address such that all mail in the inbox can be seen by all user accounts.

Since Magoo did not get any answer to his similar problem, my question is: How do other families set themselves up in Windows XP and in OE with a single email address??

Hi Rarnold2

Check out this link, it showing how to configure OE6 in XP to have multiple users use the same email, or OE mailbox which is automatically created on your c: drive.

I would have to poke around, I know there is a setting in Tools - Options I believe where you set the Don't download messages, leave them on the server setting. Right now I don't have OE so I can't go into much more details. :tazz:
