Well the past little while there have been 15 files that won't back up. This is what shows on the back up log:

Unable to open the item \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\APTemp\AP1.exe - skipped.
File \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition\7.5\APTemp\AP1.pif was not found, or could not be accessed.

I tried to google it and nothing came up. Since this started and the back up status was failed I have been able to restore files so it's still backing up all but those types of files...

they go from AP0.exe - AP15.exe

we use symantec of course as you can see and our back up soft ware is Veritas Back up Exec 8.6 SBS

Any advice???? :tazz:

Yes its a trojan; Please go to the malware forum and follow the instructions at the top....Especially the CLICK HERE .

That will give you several steps that will help you clean up 70 percent of all problems by yourself. If at the end of the process you are still having difficulty--and you may not be-- then post a hijackthis log in THAT forum.

If you are still having problems after getting a clean bill of health from the malware expert, please return to this thread.
