Hi, I have a computer issue and cannot fix it. I have downloaded every spyware tool imaginable. My computer cannot complete Ad-Aware as it freezes inexplicably. When I try to run Spyware Doctor the scan abruptly stops and I get the following error: "Error in dll.Scan_Start: External Exception C0000006"
I have a cable modem. My other computer downloads from the internet at approx 500-1000 KB/sec. This computer used to, but now downloads at 2-20 KB/sec. Very simple web pages often take 30 seconds to load. Here are my Hijackthis log and my Ewido scan report. Thanks in advance.

Hi Excal. Thanks for the help. I've actually been out of town the last few days so my log should be similar to before.
I have a 6 month old HP Pavillion dv 1000 with all factory original hardware I initially thought the issue may have been with my ISP (cable modem thru Adelphia) or my home wireless network (Microsoft Broadband network) but my other wireless laptop (2r old Dell Inspiron) works just fine. I have tested them side-by-side downloading the exact same files. The speeds aren't even comparable. This computer downloads at speeds of 10-80 kb/sec where as my older laptop downloads at speeds of 500-1000 kb/sec.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Here is my latest log:

Have you tried uninstalling SpyDoctor and Reinstalling it?

I really don't see anythng else on your log, but lets take a look and see if there is anything hiding.

Might I suggest the following Free Spyware programs, if you don't already have them, for added security, you can download them at the following links. These programs work great for detection:

If you are unhappy with your current antivirus and want to replace it or if you dont already have one, I suggest one of these free programs:
*Note - do not use more than one anti-virus program as it will more than likely cause conflict.

If you decide to keep Internet Explorer, This site is a great source for tightening up security on It's settings.

Make sure that you keep your Operating System and IE updated with the latest Critical Security Updates from Microsoft...they usually come out once a month, on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

Be sure and give the Temp folders a cleaning out now and then as well, Make sure after you clean your Temp files to empty out your Recycle bin as well.
For ease use the following program:

Run "Cleanup" and when it has finished, Reboot
